Tks bro.

Greetings,

I am a Brazilian e-rider
I have 2 Bikes Spz turbo levo one 2017 and one 2018 and I would like to know about firmware atualization.
I saw some guys complaint about firmware atualization, so I am afraid to do that.
Is there right the new firmware it would decrease the power of the motor? Can you help me out ?
thank you in advance.
Best regards.
Guto

Depending which motors you have , 1.2 or 1.3 I guess ? Updating firmware, again, depending on which version you have now, would most likely give you more power and smoother power delivery.

If you use Mission Control, you should be able to take a screen shot of the "motor" page to get the motor number and firmware number.

Hello Guto.
I live in Atibaia, have been riding a shimano powered ebike for an year.
I do not know about brose motors, but can tell you what happens with the shimano.
There are ways to unrestrict the speed limits of the motor, both with hardware or software, what the firmware upgrades do in this case is to be able to block the unrestriction and restore the original speed limits.
So, after each firmware upgrades the hackers have to create new ways to bypass it.
If your bike has original firmware and is not derestricted you should have only benefits on traction control if you do the upgrade, as Zimmer has kindly answered.
Unfortunately this site had a few xenophobic trolls, that may even try throwing bananas onto the non british, and you may have to search for ebiking friendship some where else.
