Hi
I discovered the EMTB two months ago and bought myself a Trek Rail 5. I am happy to be among you and to be able to read your valuable advice. Hoping my English is not too bad …

It's way better than my Dutch/Flemish or whatever of the dialects spoken in Belgium! I watch whatever CycloCross I can and wish I could understand the announcers and interviews better! I suppose if I lived there my diet would consist of frites with Pauwels sauzen. Have been a MVDP/WVA fan for quite a few years.
A pic of the day is always a good way to make friends here.
Welcome, Raph.
I've visited your lovely country once, and was amazed. The gravity of the impact of WWI is not understood by many of us who live in other parts of the world, but I learned a lot. I really don't understand your language, but our host served us what I think was thinly sliced raw horse meat, garnished with a local cheese and radish slices. It was AMAZING!!! Here, the best Belgian beer is very expensive and difficult to obtain, but available in every one of your grocery stores. The BEST chocolate available here is bland when compared to ANYTHING found on your store shelves. Be sure to share with us some pictures of your bike rides.
