one thing you should bear in mind is carbon bikes are disposable items over aluminium with regards to crashing them.

That’s for sure. Anyway I would not repair aluminum either CF frame if cracks after warranty period. I would just change the bike

@Bikermouse I would say it’s depending on approach of bike brand.
My target is CF frame anyway

Welcome... I'v crashed carbon bikes multiple times, Seen friends crash carbon many more times.. Never seen any issues, i wouldent worry about modern carbon. its very very strong

I have same thought abt carbon frames. Alloys are also more flex/less stiff than CF, which is more comfortable for riding and easier to adjust suspension but it is my subjective opinion

Since Canyon backed to old prices I am looking for other option than Strive. I am thinking about Giant Reign e+1. Quite similar geo to Strive, better spec (than Underdog). Currently Giant dropped down the price of e+1 up to level of underdog. Which one would you choose?
