Finally after few years, I got my ebike. Thanks to cyclescheme I'm saving a little.
I was chasing model from some time. The same day I got my voucher for the cyclescheme, I headed to Pure Electric in Holborn London. 2 days before I checked their site and the bike was there available and also in my size. I wanted to order the bike through the store, however I was told it was sold out already. Believe it or not, they had 1 bike with my color and size that was build 4 days before. I then decided to go for that one instead of waiting 4-6 weeks for another one. I managed to get some employee discount on a discounted raining jacket.
Before leaving however the keys for the battery disappeared in their workshop. After waiting for sometime we agreed that once the keys will be found I would go back for them. It has been 2 ½weeks and still nothing. The staff of Pure offered to give me a £50 voucher once they get the keys.
Hopefully next week the keys will be sorted.
In the first week I went to park close to where I am. Beautiful weather few day after it was raining, the roads were very wet still. On some parts the water on the road was very deep (reaching almost the engine). It was the best day of my "bike" life,i was there for about 3hrs.
On the way home I was saved by a car wash which helped to remove 90% of the dirt from the bike, making it easier to clean it after, I would have not be allowed in the house otherwise (my fiancé rules).
I don't go on trail often. Until now I've been riding my road commute bike. I had to stop using it as I have some health problems. Using this bike makes everything easier, now I'm enjoying my rides to work 17.60km and I'm not having pain in my lower body.
Now... I order the mudguard as u can see, it's the Acid MTB 75 mudguard set with stays. It took some time to put them on, the strays were the same. Had shorten one ti fit the front mudguard properly.
Thanks alot for taking the time and reading this post.
Have a good day??
