Hello, I am not totally new to this but things have changed a lot since I last used an eBike!
I had a front hub based Clean Republic Hill Topper around 2014 but got rid of it, because the battery pack only had a 10 mile range. Otherwise it was the best bike upgrade I ever did.
Now six years later, I'm looking to get something like a Bafang rear hub setup with a big enough battery to get a 50+ mile range. Something like a 48V/24Ah or 36V/28.8Ah
