Got me an ebike for the very first time, exactly a year ago this week.
Totally impressed after a lifetime of pedaling. I was hooked immediately.
But soon realized that even though I had coughed up a nice little sum for the privilege of owning one,.... I was going to end up traveling slower than I do on my good-old Trek Y-11.
Someone suggested the "tuning" option, and I got one of those too. And quite frankly, ever since then, I have had moments when I totally regretted spending all this money.
Good job I found your site Rob; hopefully, I will be able to figure out how to resolve the plethora of issues that the ads for these bikes don't tell you about.
I do, however, still get a real kick out of being able to go uphill faster than I do downhill.
