Heckler MX Setup

I've a Heckler MX S-Build. I also have a Heckler XO1 Reserve.

What I'm looking to do with the MX is chill it out a little. I find the MX can be a little twitchy compared to the full fat Heckler.

I don't want to lose the 'trail bike' feel of the Heckler completely but I do want to give it a little more flow.

Soooo. I've a new fork for her - I'm replacing the Pike Select+ with a Lyrik. I'm also going from 140mm to 160mm - but this is something that I think in time I will reduce down as I am really keen not to lose the trail feel of the bike and I don't want to try and turn it into something it isn't.

What I'm interested in is the shock. It's currently got the Fox Float Performance Elite. I'm thinking match the shock/fork so am looking at a Rockshox Super Deluxe.

I don't want to hear comments about people loving their Fox Float - I'm a fan already - just not sure it's the right shock on this bike for me. I'm not a massive tinkerer (if that's a word???). I just want something that I can fit and forget as I have with the full fat Heckler.

Thoughts?
