Does anyone know of such a setup?

Welcome to the forum👍

Look at Polar. I had a H10 chest strap for a while which was decent, that connected to my iphone. However you can get them to connect to their Polar watches, and get handlebar mounts to attach the watch to.

Theres likely cheaper solutions, but they're worth a look. Depends on budget I guess. You could also just mount your phone to your bars, and link the chest strap to it for a readout 🤷🏽‍♂️

I eventually bought an apple watch ultra, as I couldn't be doing with a chest strap - it annoyed me too much 😂

I second the apple watch ultra, one of the most valuable tool that can do more way than a chest strap, from tiny gps, fall detection and all day life - you better have an iphone of course.

Chest strap if of good quality is more precise but annoying to wear and not compatible with mtb, I cannot wear any chest protector with it and I wear one for each ride no matter what.

Big limitation of Apple is that you cannot connect it to other tool to remote display it. There is HeartCast but it was clunky and in the end I dismiss it.

Another alternative I have is the Scosche Rhythm, one of the first armband precise rate monitor, I have the first version and used it from 2021-2023, did not see any reason to bought the second one (most due to apple watch). It is compatible in bluetooth and ANT+

Have a good ride!

Yeah the Ultra 2 does all I want, tracks all I'm bothered about direct into Strava - heart rate, gps, speed, altitude and yes has the added benefit of crash detection etc. Plus I don't have to carry my iPhone, and risk smashing it in an "unplanned rapid dismount event" as Mr Musk might say 😛

The chest strap just made me feel constricted.

I have a 2024 Stance E+. I would like a chest band heart beat monitor that reads out to a handle bar mount display. Heart beat is the only datum that interests me, so other data is not a requirement. I have looked on the internet to no avail. Anyone help?
I run a solution that is not bike dependent. I've run a Garmin chest strap connected to my Garmin 520 mounted on the bars. Right now I run a Fenix 7 that broadcasts HR to that same 520 on the bars. My workouts try to hit and maintain a targeted heart rate. Being able to quick glance at the bars for current HR is how I do that.

According to Bosch the latest version of their Flow app will connect to all bluetooth heart rate monitors (earlier software versions were only compatible with the Apple one I believe). If anyone has tried this it would be interesting to know how the display on the Flow app looks, compared say to the app that comes with the monitor.

I have Polar Verity Sense hr-monitor and it will connect to Bosch and Specialized e-bikes and at least Garmin bike computers. It is optical hr-sensor with arm band. You can also use it under the elbow pad without that arm band if you want to. It can connect to several Ant+ and bluetooth devices simultaneously .
