Levo Gen 3 Headset adjustment cups on base alloy levo?

Hi all.

I’ve read different information about the headset adjustment cups which come with comp and above Levos..

I bought a 2022 alloy base model this week. Ice blue colour.

Can anyone with this particular bike ( even colour ) confirm if you’ve explored the headset cups for a base alloy model.

Just to confirm this is the base alloy not comp. Base model came with RockShox silver forks .

Specialized dealer said not compatible due to changes to inner headset sizing.

Trying to do this on the black 2022 model at the moment and struggling

Too much play in the headset after fitting it, whilst with the original headset there is no play at all

Going to try again just in case we didn't put it back together correctly

you take photos inside your head set. I was told the frames wouldn’t fit the cups as the space was too small.

Tried again tonight and no matter what I did I couldn’t get the slacker headset cup to fit without play

Fitting the original headset cup and their is no play at all

Will try again once I have bought a new headset bearing kit

Did you buy the headset kit seperate or did it come with the bike? Thanks
