Has anyone added an integrated front light (off-road capable) into there Giant E-mtb?

I Saw a chap posted a how-to on youtube, reaching above the battery latch/lock mechanism, where a spare wire connector was located. Anyone done this with a powerful light?

Any wired in light is limited by the bike's system light output voltage and amps.
