Haibike Hardnine Hub bearing replacement

Hi Folks,

I have a Haibike Hardnine and both hubs have plenty of play in them. I have removed the wheels but i cannot for the life of me get the caps off to see the bearings. There are no 'Flats' on the caps, I cant pull them off, There are no 'Flats' inside for a large alen key so im a bit stuck how to replace the bearings.

Has anybody got any info on how you separate them to do the job?
