New hope fortus 30 wheel build installed. Looking forward to a proper test.
The stock wheels just didn’t hold up very well couldn’t run them tubeless because knocked up too much, and changed to the eddy currents from the maxxis minion dhr/f.Looking good, was there a specific reason for the new wheels?
I’ve not had chance to give them a proper test the stock tyres were great but these were recommended to me so thought I’d give them a goHave you noticed an improvement changing the tyres?
Ive had chance now to test them in all weather and they are a great tyre. Been down and up some challenging stuff performed spot on.Great choice of wheels and tyres, I loved the Eddy Current tyres, amazing for climbing and perfect for the British winter.
Hi yes I’ve kept the 2.8 rear and I agree with you I’d say I spend more time now seeking out challenging climbs than steep decents and the tyres play a big part.Yea I like it too, front roll over height is very impressive. I read mixed reviews on a 2.8 on the rear but it gives me great confidence on techy climbs and hard cornering, especially when loose and sliding. You still got 2.6 front, 2.8 rear ?
