Hello All. I just wanted to post a quick message and introduce myself. I'm a longtime rider (52 years old), raced BMX as a kid, rode MTB before suspension was a thing, and have recently purchased my first EMTB - a LEVO. It's been a total game changer as it's gotten me out on the trails 10x more than I was riding my analog bike. I'm here to learn from so many of the knowledgeable people on this forum -thank you! (I also make a living as a mobile bike mechanic). But I'm also here to meet new EMTB riders to ride with. If anyone is ever passing through the Santa Barbara area (or lives here) and is looking for a riding companion then please reach out. Having lived in the Santa Barbara area since the late 80's (Tahoe in the mid to late 90's) I've become familiar with the trails here and would be happy to share that knowledge, or just have more people to ride with. I typically seek out black and blue trails but occasionally ride a double black. Thanks again for all of the valuable contributions made here and to getting out there while we're still young(ish)!
