Hello All...How's it going ?
I'm new(ish) to this ebike malarkey and feel like a bit of a fraud right now as I havent actually got one yet !
However it is on order with a hefty deposit paid in advance ..just waiting for it to arrive at the bike shop..
While new to owning an ebike Im not exactly new to mountain biking with 25 years of riding "normal" bikes and still have a 1st Gen Santa Cruz Nomad and a Whyte T130rs ..I've ridden hills & mountains in the Peak District , N. Yorkshire Moors, Yorkshire Dale's, Lakes, North Pennines, Borders , Scottish Highlands & Cairgorms ..to name but a few places ..but I've never ventured too far south .
I've had an itch for an ebike since riding both a Haibike Sduro & FatSix on separate day rides a few years back ..age & injury ( knee) has now brought that to fruition ( I havent ridden since October 24th 2019 because of this ..and cant wait to get back into it ..).
The new bike that I'm waiting for is the 2021 Whyte e160 rs ..Im so excited ..which is a bit sad for a 63 year old !
