Is it just me or has anyone else found that the Hyperwide angle lens isn’t much wider on the GoPro 13 than the widest angle on the GoPro 9 black, I tested them side by side and the different is very slightly different, maybe it’s something I’m missing in the settings, maybe it’s because GoPro sell that superdooper wide angle lens as well so they’re not going to make the standard lens too wide either, if anyone has any other suggestions that might help I’d be interested to hear them please 🙏

4K mate, I always record in that resolution, even though it goes up to 5.3K.
4k is the resolution...................FOV determines frame. Latest Gopros have a new sensor 8:7 rather than 4:3. Super/hyperview works best in 16:9 if you want good stabilisation, 8:7 other wise.
Re resolution. Keep in mind if you are using Gopro for POV ( ie body worn rather than on a tripod) and with forward movement ...ie riding the bike....you need a decent framerate e.g 50/60 fps and good stabilisation. We rarely have decent light conditions either so for me 2.7k/50fps is what I always use. It means I do not end up with huge files and have to resort to proxy editing. I see absolutely no point in action video at 4K.............a lot of video editors struggle with it......and at the end of the day virtually no one is going to actualy view the video at greater resolution than 1920/1080 ( standard HD for TV/PC etc)
