Giant Trance e+2 pro 2020 Rear Derailleur

Hello,

I just noticed that my Rear Derailleur Shimano Deore XT has some problem. Do you think the Outer Plate Assembly in this photo is curved? It's all right?

Hi! Its hard to tell from picture. I also had some problems with my rear derailleur some time ago and thought also that the plate was bent. It looked very similar to your picture. However it was perfectly right and it was just an adjustment problem.
Be sure to adjust it perfecly before trying to bend the plate to the opposite side (I ended up having to replace the plate xD).

I bought my son a second hand bike a few years ago and noticed the rear derailleur wasn’t straight so ordered a new one. Went to fit it and realised that was the shape they are supposed to be
Moral of the story is don’t assume it’s bent
I’ll have a look at mine later and see how it compares (but it is a 2019 version)

Just had a look at my 2019 trance e+ 2. It does look straighter.
