Was riding few weeks ago and stopped for a break, 15 mins later bike had no power on Led display, took battery off and showed 80%. Tried numerous things but no joy. Carried on with no power then about 2 miles later it all came back on and was fine.
Booked it in to Giant Liverpool who said it was 2 weeks outside of its 2 year warranty. They investigated and replaced all the wiring as a good will gesture 👍. Mechanic test rode bike and handed it back to me. Next day wanted to go for a ride but no motor assistance. Led all lit up but came up with smart wear error message. On my phone Ap it says motor failure wtf 🫣. Took back to giant who investigated further and have said it may need a new motor £1100 or new circuit boards £600.
Bike originally never went in with this issue and hasn’t turned a wheel since I got it back from them. Just in limbo land at the min as to what to do or any advice as missing valuable bike time.
