Giant Contact Switch post length question

If you have a Giant with the 150mm Contact Switch dropper post, would you be able to to measure the distance from the bottom of the collar to the seat rails for me?

I'm trying to decide if I get a 150mm post on my XL Fathom E+.

Think about buying a one up components dropper - you can fit a longer drop within the same dimentions as the giant - I went 150 mm to replace my 125 mm giant and probably could have gone the next size up.

You can even adjust the drop using shims supplied, plus the cartridge pressure can be adjusted with a shock pump.

Yeah could do but it’s almost double the price.

I’ve just replaced my giant dropper post with a one up and it works miles better and has a lot better reviews to show for it

I’d used the giant contact switch dropper that came with my bike on about 20 rides and it’s not smooth under actuation anymore and I’ve cleaned and lubed it after every couple of rides. A lot of people seem to get on well with the brand x seatposts if your budget won’t stretch much further

Good point. Maybe I’ll push the budget out a bit.
