I live in the OR which is well known as a wet spot during the winter. In fact they say 5 people have fallen off their bikes and drowned over the years;).

My eMTB is just a kit type old bike that is only a hardtail and ugly to being with so I have no shame in applying some sheet plastic and zip ties to it during the winter months to keep the mud at bay. Biggest thing I find is how well the strip covering the dt, a bit hard to see in the pic but it goes from under the front linkage to in front of the motor and is like 3"es wide, does in keeping things like the battery and motor from getting trashed. The modified cheap seat post mount rear also does the trick.

I fully realize that FS bikes have different needs and dropper posts preclude the seat post mount stuff but I don't have that to worry about:cool:

With a front end a bimota tesi would have been proud of ! :)

Difficult to say for certain from the picture but it looks like there are two guards at the end ? does these flap and clap together for encouragement or create a self cleaning resonance ?
