So I have changed the chainring from 16T to 18T and it seems to have upset the speed display.
Can I have the gear ratios adjusted in the motor by a dealer?
I asked the local dealer about changing it and they said not to, but it has improved the ride no end. Also @Bearing Man recommends a bigger chainring to reduce build up round the crankshaft
