If anyone is still running Gen1's I've put together a homebrew TCU. The technical details are a Arduino Nano RP2040 Connect (Bluetooth and CPU) circa 30 pounds, and a Adafruit FeatherWing OLED (display) circa 14 pounds. Soo, not super cheap. it's more a bit of engineering fun, and not really that sure of it's robustness (covered the insides of the enclosure with enough Latex Rubber so finger crossed ... it's held up so far ).

Anyways, all the details, circuits, source code and 3D models of the case are here:
Here's a video of it's basic functionality, bit of 80's retro styling for the keen eyed old aged nerds out there, happy riding peoples:

2019 to 2021 Turbo Levo - Specialized Levo (2019+) Bluetooth interface
If somebody is interested in decoding the bluetooth interface of a Specialized Levo: I wrote a small decoder and data logger based on a M5Core2 microcontroller (Espressif ESP32). You can find the software here: Sepp62/LevoEsp32Ble This is the hardware: M5Stack Core2 ESP32 IoT Development Kit
