Hi went to clear the memory from my edge 1000 as i was having difficulty with loading maps. Anyway i backed up all of the files in the garmin folder but forgot to copy the files in the root folder. Now the edge wont go past the splash screen. Can anyone suggest how i can get a copy of the files i am missing?

Tried as best i could but in the end contacted Garmin and sent back for a replacement. Must say i am impressed with garmin support, The 1000 was 2 months over warranty however no charge.Have you tried to reload SW:
