Frame bearing maintenance

With the shitty wet British weather we have had this winter, what do you all use If anything to lubricate suspension bearing/pivots?
Was thinking Muc off bike protect as it has a lubricating ingredient.
My bikes only a coupe of months old and the outer part of the bearing has rusted already

my bearings I think are either aluminium or alloy. They dont really rust. What bike is it and can you post a picture of the bearing?

I have just replaced my pivot bearings on my cube stereo after two years,the top ones were ok,but the ones behind the motor at the seatstay base were graunchy,they are the ones that get the crap mostly,and i ride in all weathers in wales,if its rusty on the outside i wouldnt worry too much,if you are that concerned,undo the bolt,put your finger in it and give it a spin,i dont think it will be knackered after a few months,they are a sealed bearing and its just the outer steel thats corroded.

MTB suspension Bearings are typically full compliment deep groove ball bearings with 2 rubber lip seals.
Squiring lubricant at them does nothing. You either run them until they need replacing or you try to pop a sea out and squeeze some grease in. Its real hard to pop those seals out without damaging the seal and making the ingress of grim and grit and water worse.

Im generally a run them to the ground and replace them kind of guy.

PS MTB bearings are not alloy...... that will be hardened steel or stainless steel.
