Hi All,

I have a 2020 Levo Expert Carbon with the Fox36 Performance "ID DX82" on the fork. I am a heavy rider (slowly fixing that) and wish to upgrade the travel from 150 to... what ever I can.

I have found a 170mm Airshaft Assembly, however I thought I was limited to a 160mm upgrade - have I been mislead? Can i really go to 170mm without problems? I will be ordering Tokens at the same time as my current setup has non and non came with the bike (bit annoyed about that for the price!).

Hi, I'm doing exactly the same in terms of travel. Same bike. Going 150-160mm with an airshaft replacement (about £40 for parts), assuming Fox pull their finger out and ship the part...

170mm will void warranty with the Levo frame and also will push the geometry out quite a bit, but those may or may not concern you. The Levo manual says 160mm fork max. The fork (according to Fox) will go to 170mm.

Tokens and travel will do different things though. If you want to change the "progressiveness" (if thats a word), tokens will do that. If you are hitting bigger things the extra travel will help you with that. If you're worried about blowing through your travel because of weight, try the tokens first before doing the airshaft replacement. The reason I'm changing the airshaft is for bigger hits and because I prefer the geometry that the 160mm will bring.
