I have a new 2020 Levo Expert and really dislike the Specialized seat post that came stock on the bike. I want to convert it to the Fox Transfer as that is what I have on my other bikes. To do so I will need to add shims since Fox does not make a post diameter for my bike. Has anybody had any issues with shimming a seatpost? Also, I hear that I should utilize the existing cable housing for the new seatpost because it is really challenging to replace the housing and cable. Any pointers or thoughts on the conversion process would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Get a USE alloy seatpost shim for £10, this is what i used on my Expert when i fitted a Factory Transfer seatpost

I also checked with Spesh UK who said this is fine to do as long as you use a good seatpost shim, mentioned i had a USE one and they said perfect!

If you reuse the cable housing its a 10 minute job, I would recommend fitting a Wolf Tooth or a PNW Loam Lever whilst your at it
