I haven’t had much luck with the fox 38’s on my whyte e160rs at all. They’ve already been in twice for warranty work as they kept losing pressure and now I’ve got a clicking/creaking sound when I compress or lift the front forks. Easiest way to replicate it is when I press the front brake, especially when doing a stoppie, Its been a few weeks since I first noticed it and it seems to be getting louder. I’ve taken the headstock bearings out, cleaned them, regreased and refitted and it hasn’t made a difference. I haven’t got any play in the headstock either. I’ve checked the rotor and caliper and both are fine so it has to be coming from the forks.
Anyone had this issue before or have any suggestions to pinpoint where its coming from?
