forum search question

I could not figure out to sort search results according to "date" (instead of relevance which is default)
within the thread search.
on the other side, advanced search would let me do so, but I was not able to use advancd search for a particular thread.

any hints how i can do search on a thread and get the results ordered by date ?

If you're using the advanced search, can't you just select by date ??

You can also use google to search the site and can use the tools option then to specify specific date ranges, for instance type in google search to search this site for cube 160:

site:www.emtbforums.com cube 160

thx, I know this Option, but afaik this will not limit to a particular thread nor sort the results on date.

To limit it to a particular discussion, you could use something like:
site:www.emtbforums.com cube 160 "forum search question"

The above doesn't find this page yet, however, as Googles crawlers haven't yet visited this discussion

So you want to search for something only within a single specific thread ?

Like :

site:h t t p s://www.emtbforums.com/community/threads/official-specialized-gen-3-2022-levo-megathread.20298/ mastermind

(without the spaces)

To search for mastermind within the Gen3 megathread.

It's just an example thread to show how you can get google to search a specific thread. You said above that you couldn't get google to search a specific thread when I suggested that option.

There are also more results for that thread, but you need to click "repeat the search with the omitted results included"

thx, I see.
however, it's just about 1/3 of the results, with no ordering of timeline. so actually not what I'm searching for.
