Looking for recommendations for something that folds up, take an xl turbo Levo and doesn’t fall over. Would prefer not to pay a fortune and need to order online!

Cheers!

I use the Aldi/Halfords cheapo one - it works fine but i use it with the sliding pole un-extended, and the legs fully extended as i am not sure if it would take the weight if the pole holding the mount was raise up. Its good for a cheap option:

I also use the Halfords cheap stand. It’s lasted ok, not the most hardcore but if youre just looking for a cheap option that works it’s fine.

I am waiting for someone to bring out a reasonably price e-bike specific stand, hence why i got the Aldi one

Is it wise to hold the ebike by its dropper tube when on these stands?
Otherwise its not easy to fix it to anywhere else on my Focus Jam 2

I’ve seen dealers do it and also Specialized UK at events hold by the dropper. So assuming it’s safe.

And don't leave it there all week...

Mine is suspiciously similar to one @Rob Hancill linked to. I got it from eBay for 13 quid. If you're not in a desperate hurry you should be able to find one for the same sort of money.

For people using stands on carbon bikes, be very carefull clamping on carbon tubes, carbon is very strong but will crack if compressed to much.

I use a contec rock steady, it is about 80-90 euros.
It is a nice stand, holds up to 25 kgs, height adjustable, can twist and swing and folds up.

I don't clamp mine on the dropper post, always on the top tube - i just feel hanging 22kg off a dropper is tempting fate

^^^^. Hence my querie. Perhaps a combination of maint stand and block under motor to take some weight.
I do like to get the bike up in the air a bit for good cleaning ....
Have fun
