Hi, I was hoping someone could shed some light for me please. I currently have some fox 36 160mm 29/27.5+ which I’m running on 29er bike, I have a cube stereo 160 on the way which is running RockShox silver 35 27.5, I was hoping to straight swap the forks over, would that be possible. Any help would be great, thanks.

29 and 27.5 plus are essentially the same diameter so your Fox fork is a 29er. If you use a 29er fork with 27.5 wheel the crown to axle length will be greater and that will change the geometry of the bike. A 27.5 fork is normally 44mm offset.........your 29er fork may be 51mm.
As above if your Fox fork has already been fitted to a bike its steerer tube would have been cut to fit and may be too short for the new bike ( or not). Lastly the hub in the new bike will be fitted with boost spacers to fit a RS fork.........the Fox fork has smaller diameter cut outs so they will need to be changed or machined down to size.
Overall you would be better selling your Fox 36 and the fork that comes with your new bike and use the proceeds to get a new 27.5 fork of your choice.

Unlikely the Silver will take the 29 inch wheel, so probably no. Also could be difference in headtube length.

Thank you both for clearing that up. I thought as much, my best bet will be to sell the both.. thanks again.
