Just changed today my shit Suntour XCR34 to Rockshox Gold 35 on my commuter Focus AventuraLiterally anything will be better. (except Rockshox 35's - They're evil and should be banned) .
Looking on wiggle £350+ budget wise?
Don't worry, the 35 Gold is actually not a terrible fork IF.....if.... it has had a good service. Lots of the problems with these I think were caused by them leaving the factory dry and with excessive sticking. Having a full service done on mine opened my eyes to how plush and responsive they can be. Same with the rear deluxe shocks too. I have ridden it for week now and it’s soooo much better than Suntour, one of the best upgrade for the money what I have done to any of my bikesDon't worry, the 35 Gold is actually not a terrible fork IF.....if.... it has had a good service. Cost savings. What did you get in the end?So finally found a shop in Spain to upgrade my fork. Amazing improvement. Why did cube fit such a bad fork to their “pro” model!
Still a good forkSays rockshox Judy gold on the invoice so nothing fancy.
