I carry my bike in my VW T5 van using a fork mount fixed to a steel bar on the floor of the van. The 9mm skewer size is easy to get made by a company called Delta but I could not source a 15mm bolt through version anywhere in the UK. I made my own in the end....that is 15mmx100mm. Now with my e bike I have boost hubs so need 15mmx110.....again no one in the UK sells them. So I am going to have to fabricate one again....BUT....I have found a ready made part that gets most of the job done. Pendle do a roof rack bike carrier using a fork mount and sell separately as spares the fork adapter part in all hub sizes.

I imported mine from the U.S they were only a few dollars each and came in just over a week. I think they call them truckbed bike mounts

Would it be possible to use one of the Brand X (Maxle stealth) clones on CRC?
Not sure I understand what you mean. I have seen nothing on CRC that will do the job. Here is my diy one...this one is 15mmx100. I can use a 10 mm spacer to use with my Levo which has boost hubs but it is fiddly

Yep I have seen some on ebay from the US but the postage is nearly as much as the cost of it...I made my own for £5.

Well, I'm not sure of the set up and it was just a suggestion. :) The Brand X axles are great value and I wondered if you could use a longer one to thread through to hold the fork?
