Folding Tyre Storage

Just bought a couple of Maxxis folded MTB tyres. They were a bit of a panic purchase following a puncture incident where I thought the rear was shot but it's sealed and held so I don't need to rush fitting the new one and the front isn't too worn so I don't need to change that in a hurry either.
How should I store the new ones?
As they have arrived, folded in bags? or unfold and hang up in the garage?
