Focus Jam2 - Mullet Setup

Has anyone switched the 29 rear wheels to a 27.5 on the Focus Jam2? I understand that I would change the caliper adapter from the high to the low set up. Would it need to shorten the chain as well? please share your experience doing the mullet setup.

I switched out the wheels on momento a mullet setup.

I had to flip the chips, install the other brake mount that came with the bike and also took a few links from the chain. It came a little long to begin with when the 29" wheelset was fitted.

How do you find the Jam2 mullet in compare with the 29”?

I had some nice carbon wheels on industry 9 hubs I wanted to use so I switched them out when I first got the bike. I never rode it full 29 so cannot compare. I'm actually considering getting a new rear to try full 29.
