Just back from Hadley after the first ride on my Turbo Levo, and on the last lap, at the bottom of the hill by the castle the chain snapped, was a long push up the hill
I made sure that I was in a high gear before starting the ascent so maybe it was the mud, or maybe it was in a lower gear than i thought, lesson learnt i guess, carry a spare chain, or a chain link / tool with me for when it happens again.
Just called the bike shop where i purchased said bike and they are £41 to replace, going to be an even more expensive hobby than I anticipated!
Does anyone have any tips for tool kits / spares to take on a ride, reading posts on the forum searching for replacement chain it seems that most are replaced due to wear, so hopefully it's not going to be a common issue for me.
