Hey Guys, picked up a 2022 Santa Cruz Heckler last month after test riding a bunch of bikes here in Santa Cruz, California. I live in Monterey which is only 30 minutes from Santa Cruz and live on Fort Ord which has a ton of single track and where the Sea Otter Classic event is held every year. I am 51 and ride to work everyday as well as on the weekends off road. I am loving everything about the Heckler and the doors it has opened for exploration. Look forward to chatting and have a list of modifications already in the works the first is a coil over for the rear!

Heckler is a great bike. You could be getting mild symptoms of ‘upgraditist’…there’s no cure apparently.

Thanks, I without a doubt have major symptoms and have for quite some time. I started riding Mt Bikes in the early 80's and wrenched in a shop for a long time on and off in between fire seasons. I have been fighting the EMTB for quite a while now, turn 52 this year and am in great shape but finding it harder to do those 30 plus mile epic rides on the weekends without feeling destroyed the next week. I love this bike and have no complaints and look forward to what the future holds for the sport!
