Fazua charger lead

Hi anyone know where I can get a Fazua battery charger connector, even someone with an old dead charger perhaps. Fazua in their infinite wisdom have a dedicated charger at a dedicated Fazua price, where as I have a much better controlled charger ( I can set charge levels Etc ) but no connector.

Just on the Fazua subject, any forums, user groups etc anybody know of ?

Making your own tec pack?

Has anyone successfully (or even tried) fitting an aftermarket battery pack to their bike? Seeing as tec packs are so thin on the ground, how feasible would it be to make your own packs.. Eg there's loads of videos on YouTube with guys getting 36v packs by 10x5 configuration and getting...

Looking foward to getting a non working battery and taking it apart to see what goes on ( they seem to pop on EBay all too regularly ), seems odd to have an extra 4 pins, what are they used for ?

Thanks sadly its not quite that simple, Fazua have encoded the battery / charger combination somehow that a normal charger ( circa £ 20.00 ) and a connector ( circa £ 30.00 ) will not work. Instead you have to buy the dedicated Fazua charger at £ 120.00. Talk about a rip off.

Have to say that Fazua really have gone to town on protecting their exclusivity of components even using 32 Bit encryption on the files, make a change and you are screwed with zero warranty. Every thing is logged even down to max speed without assistance of the motor, max speed with motor and even things like what components each drive pack has been used with, its all there in the diagnostic file which is the first thing they look at. Even things like the 26kph a new drive pack I had was set at, was changed to 25kph as the first thing on the technicians list.
