Hi!

Today's ride was a total disaster. It is hot here but not much more than other days or years I have ridden this bike.

Anyway, when asking more power to the motor, the bike suddenly went off. Level 3 on some climbing or level 5 on flat terrain, it went off. I was able to switch it on again inmediately but if not waiting some minutes it went off after 30 secs of climbing again.

Have you ever have this problem? I am pretty sure I have ridden this bike with more temperature and assist levels before :(

Thanks.

My first Stance E+2 had intermittent shut down.
Ended up getting my Stance replaced. Tried using a shim or two on the battery plate, replacing the controller, and replacing the wiring harness but no.
Replacement bike is perfect.
BTW, mine was shutting down in winter, so not heat related at all.

Thanks for your help. Mine is not a mechanical problem but electronic.

I have tried it in the night just now and it happens as soon as I use level 5 for 2 minutes… :(

Yeah I think mine was electronic as well. Although I was never offered the actual reason for the shutdown I suspect it was the motor itself.

I have left the bike at the LBS. It could be the battery, I tried another battery and for 1 hour it did not turn off. However it could the motor and I had a lucky ride xD
