Error code when not connected to flow app.

Hey Bros.

I have a Voima with the intergrated controller on the top tube.

I've downloaded and installed the flow app.
If the flow app is not connected to the bike the bike spits up an error code the colour on the controller turns to orange and I cant see what mode im in.

Its a pain in the arse. Essentially i have to ride with the flow app on with the cell phone in my pocket. I don't always carry the phone and if I lend the bike to others they ride 100m away and the error code spits up again.

PS I didnt option and am not using the display.

Any idea how to fix this? I want to ride without a phone and be able to see what mode I'm in.

When you leave the phone and the orange light comes on, just press the mode (+/-) button on the top tube and it will come back to normal

Boom that worked!

Now smaller niggle. My little remote on the bar doesn't get rid of the orange color when I change mode plus it doesn't turn the bike on or off.

Brilliant. Your post has confirmed the weird issue I had at weekend. Rather than doing full run on the bike we sessioned the lower section. I decided therefore to travel light and leave everything in car. This included the phone. I peddled off and my display went orange. I pressed buttons randomly and it disappeared. I now know it relates to phone connection. Cheers.

Very helpful. I've noticed my Strive On do this a few times when it looses connection to my phone. I guess the only way to stop it would be to deactivate the ebike lock on the Bosch app then?

On my rail with the same smart system (Kiox 300 not top tube controller) I never have any issue riding without the phone/flow app. Weird that it does flash up orange. As someone suggested try turn off the ebike lock within the flow app?

Could also be worthwhile looking into your application settings for the flow app (mine below)
