Hey gents any info you guys have on this issue would be great.
Went to go for a ride yesterday and turned on display and I got a red display( that’s not good) with an exclamation point on it and it also said No HMI SN.
Also display stayed on so it’s getting voltage and didn’t shut down like if the battery is not connected up good and shuts down.
Im guessing SN is serial # and HMI is ?
After repeated turning on/off and unplugging/ plugging back in battery everything started working properly again and worked fine for my ride.
When I got home I went to turn on and got the same display reading, turned off then tried again and all was good.
Went for a ride today and it happened one more time and then after turning off it turned on and was fine for the ride.
When this initially happened and I was able to ride I noticed that my Eco/Trail/ Turbo settings were defaulted back to the preset Universal mode the Specialize had installed. I had my phone so I was able to open the App and adjust as needed.
So I called the LBS near me that reps Specialized and the service guy was kinda clueless as to the issue but he did say bring it by and they could plug in the computer to see what’s what. So I got that going for me.
Any ideas?
