EP801 Battery percentage instead of bars?

I am perplexed that one cannot show battery percentage on the Shimano system, only bars.

I have a Canyon Spectral ON and the GPS security feature does feature battery percentage but it doesn’t update frequently.

I have done a search on this subject and there isn’t much out there to my surprise. Seems this can be accomplished by a Garmin device but I am Apple Watch and really don’t want to buy another device.

Seems like a simple software update enhancement by Shimano…

Thank you for your reply. I actually didn’t think about that but I wouldn’t want to void my warranty just to see percentage of battery life.
