Just joined the growing ranks of eMTB riders. Not so easy to find a decent bike these days. At the price point suppose it might be just as well to start somewhere reasonable and see where it takes me? Found a Trek rail 7 that has decent components. Haven't even taken a ride and thinking the brakes need a boost but will bleed first and see if it helps? Only prior experience with ebikes was renting them on the island of Corsica with my wife. The bikes were laughable but we had better time than expected. Corsica is pretty terrain but we had smiles on our faces despite the low end nature of rental equipment. Once I started seeing fancy eMTB's in the local mountains and trails it got me thinking. Maybe there's more fun to be had? In my mind this is as close as I'll get to mixing dirt motorcycling and mountain biking. Current mtb is a Trek EX9 which is 12 years old and runs on 26" wheels. The 29's of the rail are huge! Going to take some getting use to! Anyway - hello from NorCal

I Really like the Rail. Depending on your riding style the brakes are a good upgrade.
Enjoy ?
