Cacapon State Park which sits on the Va / Wv border is about 30 minutes from Winchester, Va and 1.5 hrs from the DC metro. It is a 6,000 acre park with a budding mountain bike community and trail system. There is an Enduro mountain bike race there May 15, and there are men's and women's eMTB classes. Saw that no one has registered, so reaching out to the community to spread the word. The park has a pretty good vertical, 1,500' top to bottom, and e gravel road for access to the peak. Trails range from flow machine built to very technical rock... a bit for everyone.
