And not a spoon in sight
Tyres is the British English spelling of it.Are tyres kinda like tires?
Fixed it for you.Tyres is the British English spelling of it. (ie the correct way!)
Tire is used when saying you are fatigued for example, like "soon the ascent grew steeper and he began to tire"
As Churchill so aptly said, "England and America are two nations separated by a common language."Tyres is the British English spelling of it.

Are the ones with the red handles plastic or metal?
Metal ! They're just pry bars. I do have a smaller one I have used on one occasion in a desperate moment, but obviously it's not really a good idea !!!Are the ones with the red handles plastic or metal?
The CushCore levers help save the knuckles too. Good for chasing a bead around into the rim valley when you add a CushCore to the wheel. Less likely to score/scratch the rim tape also. The cushcore lever is a belta, Its bulky but worth a squeeze in..
iv got a used slick for my tyre bench...The CushCore levers help save the knuckles too. Good for chasing a bead around into the rim valley when you add a CushCore to the wheel. Less likely to score/scratch the rim tape also.

I broke the red ones easily. The blue ones have metal in them. That little green thingy helps hold for installing but the levers that @Mabman posted look like they would do the job.

Here’s a pic of my special wheel holder. Came with a lid and you can store stuff/garbage in it. Great shop tool.
Ya, I asked because I figured if they were metal they had the potential to tear up expensive wheels.Metal ! They're just pry bars. I do have a smaller one I have used on one occasion in a desperate moment, but obviously it's not really a good idea !!!
Never thought of that, got used race tyres I could use as a 'tyre bench'.iv got a used slick for my tyre bench...
When I need to …I use the rock-hammer …caveman style.iv got a used slick for my tyre bench...
It is so they can tell the difference between the too.Tyres is the British English spelling of it.

I would think that a stout stick and an and an axe would be more your jam? When I need to …I use the rock-hammer …caveman style.
You know, now that I think of it, I’ve never sharpened the business end of my axe…but I’ve smashed a few wedges into the backcut.I would think that a stout stick and an and an axe would be more your jam?
On second thought a wedge would be a better tool for the job! You could saw some old ones into thinner pieces to work on recalcitrant tires that won't fall into their place. You know, now that I think of it, I’ve never sharpened the business end of my axe…but I’ve smashed a few wedges into the backcut.
I knew something was wrong when I was using a wedge to wedge in a wedge with the thick end of the wedge. .On second thought a wedge would be a better tool for the job! You could saw some old ones into thinner pieces to work on recalcitrant tires that won't fall into their place.
