Hey All,

Just got into EMTB this past spring; right before COVID sold out every bicycle in the area for me! I am a well established moto enduro racer and suffered a really horrific bilateral knee injury last fall. After two surgeries, I was cleared to ride bicycles before dirt bikes. So I figured it would make sense to get back in to mountain biking and sell my old Big Hit and trade up to a Levo. The E bike has been great for supplementing my knee rehab and helping me with lower intensity cardio outside of my gym training.

anyways, just wanted to pop on and see if there are any more e bike guys in connecticut. Biggest reason I'm on here is to discuss performance upgrades on my levo. Specifically, I really need to upgrade the suspension as I am hucking things that aren't meant for trail bikes!

Hey Harrison,

NJ here also a lifelong enduro guy that just got an E Bike (Yamaha Moro Pro)
Defiantly a different discipline with the speed and impacts a dirt bike can take to a MTB.
Getting used to all that without killing myself - thinking I'm on my dirt bike.
So glad I got an ebike opposed to standard MTB - makes the transition easier to the new sport.
Been using the shit out of it opposed to my dirt bike - i have to say the trail system in Pennsylvania is pretty sick.
MTB Project or Single tracks has been a great resource.
Ever in PA or NJ well go for a rip.

Hey Jersey Woods, where'd you buy your Yamaha? I'm in PA but the nearest dealer is a motorcycle dealership in NJ. Not sure how confident I feel about buying from a motorcycle dealer.
