Hi, I'm Carolina, a 46 year old E-MTB newbie from Lisbon, Portugal. Hoping to learn, share, smile and embrace a new community
I have basic cycling skills and decided on a whim to get into MTB as I always liked cycling and nature. As I live in a very hilly area I've struggled in the past, it was just too demanding. So I opted for an E-bike, not out of laziness but as a motivator to go out and know that I'be be able to get back home without walking the bike. I do like exercise, like to challenge myself and I work out regularly, and I'm extreme motivated to go out practice and learn.
I'm a bit scared of getting injured as my arms are my bread and butter, so I do need to be careful.....not easy on my home tracks, everything is hilly and loose rocks all over the place. A few bumps on the road but managing
