E bike storage - best environment for battery health?

In terms of battery health what's peoples opinions on e bike storage? Obviously with winter almost upon us the shed/garage could be a pretty cold place.. does this have a negative effect of battery health or is it best to take the battery indoors whilst not being used?

Yes take the battery indoors... im lucky all my bikes live in our spare bedroom

Batteries should ideally be stored at between 40-70% charge in a cool, dry environment. Lots of discussion on the topic in this thread...

theres no escaping it - my battery records any neglect and tells tales at the bike shop...
