E Bike rack

Searched through forum and it appears most people would use tow ball rack or even roof rack for transporting e bike.Has anyone used standard rear boot rack.I know the angled top frame is an issue but i have seen braces that run off stem and seat post.I have been looking at Saris Bones 2 for my Scott 700 e genius tuned.I use BMW 320 saloon for work and would prefer to use this as opposed to Mrs VW Tiguan

Have had my Focus JAM2 and a 12kg mtb on our Thule Raceway and it seemed fine. I think the load capacity is 45kg so you could put two eMTB on the back in theory. We've had 40+kg on it all the way to Spain (at 'brisk' pace) and it's been fine.

That said, we're now looking at converting a box trailer into a mobile bike rack / charging station as the fleet of eMTB is rapidly growing!
