E-bike-parts.com no longer deliver to the U.K. - part needed from them

Can I sort out with someone willing to buy from there for me from the E.U. and send it to my address? I need a Giant controller E1, E2 prime. Cost about 20 quid. Will pay the postage you need to send it.

If my understanding is correct - buyer will have to pay VAT locally and you will have to pay VAT on import (plus any other charges)...

Yeah well how else am I going to get the part?

The controller is on its way out again due to an off and water ingress so the bike can’t be used.

I looked up Giant OEM parts U.K and they don’t sell the part.

Just saying as all you see on the news feeds is "I got charged extra £££ for a coat/hat/bag/etc. that only cost £££"

Can a Giant LBS not see if they can source the part for you? I'm sure you've probably asked though...
