Hi, new here! Bare with my ramblings!

Bit of a background; So I've actively been avoiding e bikes for a while, recently ridden a few Bosch motored bikes. I live in a flattish part of the UK with plenty of short jumpy trails near by. I get to Wales a few times a year/ the Alps and enjoy uplift days and longish trail rides.

So the e mythique caught my eye, due to price mainly. I have a garage full of parts that would fit it so it made sense to me. Although abit of an unknown.

Then I walked into my local specialized dealer who had a kenevo sl with over £4k off it.

Which got me thinking, do I really want a full weight e bike? The two bikes are at very different ends of the scale.

I'd still have my MTB for uplifts/ Alps trips.

So what would you do? Is there even an a definite answer?

Depends on the use case really. For me, I want to smash out after work laps as quickly as I can, to maximise my downhill time. A full fat therefore made sense to me. I have my regular bike for group rides, trips away, uplifts etc. I rode a Levo SL. Great, fun, bike, but it was so slow uphill compared to a FF. It just wasn't for me. Maybe if your climbs are not so steep / long, an SL would actually make more sense.
