Hi everyone.
Last year I managed to get hold of a second hand Decathlon Stilus and it has been a revelation - like riding my downhill bike but at XC racer speeds!
I'd love to get an e-bike for my wife as well, so she can explore more light trails. She already has a hardtail mountain bike but isn't a cyclist and it put off by the uphill parts of the ride.
I already have a garage full of parts (including from my old non-electric bikes). Importantly I also have the original 500 Wh battery from the Stilus as this now has a 625 Wh.
Is there a cost effective way to buy a small hardtail frame, motor and controller only? I can then build up the rest of the bike with the forks, drivetrain and components I already have - rather than buying a budget bike with budget components?
Many thanks,
Lewis
